Tyler and Nicole are adventurers, it would be fitting that they would wed on top of a mountain and get ready in cabins.
The wedding day wasn’t exactly what we all expected or imagined, but God has a way of turning things around for amazing photos anyway. Though it rained or sprinkled on and off most of the day – we got outside for the portraits that we REALLY wanted outside. We also had the wedding party hanging outside in POURING rain for the beginning of the full bridal party shots with some nifty umbrellas while Scott danced around me trying to keep my camera dry. As we finished portraits for the bridal party, the rain stopped and a beautiful fog set just below the mountain which made for some AMAZING backgrounds for Tyler and Nicole’s couple shots.
Family and friends really made the day what it was – from Tyler’s sweet first look with her dad, to the crazy dance floor and the amazing speeches. It’s no doubt that Tyler and Nicole are beloved and we celebrated that all night long.
The two are especially meaningful to us, as Nicole was the first student we met when we moved to Norfolk to minister at ODU, and became one of our biggest encouragers and sweetest friends. We’re thankful for these two and hope for a lifetime of friendship with them.
