It all began at a party. She noticed him. He noticed her back. They decided to have lunch the next day. Sparks flew and love grew.
Tara’s mom said it well herself at her matron of honor speech (p.s. how cute is that?! mom as matron of honor?!); Tara was the kind of girl who didn’t really ever need a boyfriend to be happy. She was happy. She didn’t need someone else to complete her. That’s how Tara’s mom knew that when Tara started talking about Andrew, that something serious was up. They became official a few weeks after their lunch date, and the rest my friends, is history.
They already live a pretty sweet dream life. Andrew has a stable job in Blacksburg, they live with their fur child in the mountain town where they both met. They have friends who visit to come to football games, and Tara is just beginning to apply for jobs around the state. Their wedding day was a beautiful gathering of both friends and family, but most importantly, all people who love and support Andrew and Tara.
Awhile ago, at their engagement session, they promised me that their friends and families were going to bring a serious party to their reception. I’m always skeptical when people tell me things like that, but they were not joking around. I’ve never seen so much family have the time of their lives getting together. It was beautiful to see people who came from all over to support Andrew and Tara in their marriage and dance the night away to celebrate their incredible union.
The weather had called for thunderstorms for the past few days before their wedding. Even up until the literal time that I arrived, the weather was not looking so good. However, when Scott and I got there – the weather cleared up, the sun came out and the thunderstorm forecast dissipated until after we would be done with all pictures. Everything was beautiful, the florals, the reception space, venue, the bride, bridal party, everything. It was a flawlessly planned and beautiful executed day that was truly, a fairytale.
It was an honor to serve this beautiful couple on their wedding day – enjoy the images!
