Cullen and Caroline are seven years strong. After seven years, it’s no secret that they’ve been pretty solid and committed to each other for awhile now. Their wedding ceremony and celebration was a time for them to make it official in front of all of the people that they love and care about while throwing the sweetest party they could come up with.
I love these two because they march to the beat of their own drum. They won’t do something just because everyone else does. They chose some amazing craft beer choices for their guests because they love craft beer, were served an incredible fried oreo from their favorite restaurant, Jack Brown’s, chose a family friend to marry them, and had an ice cream bar instead of cake.
It was really an amazing day – Caroline was the most calm bride that I’ve ever seen. Seriously, she was cool and collected and just really excited the whole day. She never complained for a second when the forecast showed the day would be mostly rainy, but she ended up getting the sun to come out for some amazing golden hour shots. And of course, Kelly Gish did an incredible job of decking out the beautiful ceremony space inside of the country club which resulted in some beautiful ceremony images.
All around an amazing day, and it was so much fun to spend it with Cullen and Caroline. We’re excited for them, feel like they’re our good friends and look forward to seeing them from time-to-time when we come back to visit Norfolk.
