It was so much fun to visit Harrison and Lindsey in their natural environment – their beloved city of Richmond. We met near their apartment and they drove me around, telling me about their relationship, their Hokie pride, the way that they love their city, the things that they’re looking most forward to on their wedding day and the beautiful details they already have planned.
What’s even more fun is that Lindsey is near and dear to my heart as the sister of one of our closest friends and she was also just one year younger than me at the high school that we went to in Roanoke, Virginia. We actually had a class together because she was much smarter than me 😉
It’s fun to be almost 10 years post high school and watching this sweet girl prepare to marry the love of her life! Little did I know that I would get the honor and privilege of photographing the wedding of a girl from my high school precalculus class.
One of the reasons that I’m so excited for Harrison and Lindsey is that they’re always laughing when they’re together. These two have some serious fun when they’re together. One thing that my grandma taught me about relationships and marriage is that having similar humor and laughing in life will get you through a lot of the difficult times in marriage. I pray that for these two as they prepare for marriage at a beautiful church in Richmond this fall.
Thanks for giving me a tour of some of your favorite places in Richmond, it’s an honor to walk with you!
